We are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of the book "Methodological Guidelines for the Physical Improvement of Barrios" in early 2025. This comprehensive guide will outline the chronology, history, projects, and testimonials of AMHABITAT's innovative methodologies for empowering solutions in non-controlled urban settlements.

Our groundbreaking work focuses on integrating barrios into the urban landscape, engaging the community, and using advanced technical resources to transform unstable settlements into sustainable areas. This book is a must-read for anyone interested in urban development and community empowerment.

Replicability: The AMHABITAT methodology has been successfully developed and implemented in eight percent of the barrios in Venezuela. Starting with five pilot cases in Caracas in 1992, it expanded to 300 cases in 52 cities across the country until 2005. Our methodology comprises proven methods that can be adapted to similar conditions in precarious settlements worldwide, offering a versatile solution rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Join us on this journey to empower communities and enhance living conditions for millions. Stay tuned for more updates and be among the first to explore this essential resource for urban transformation!

I'm delighted to announce that I have been invited to write an article for the upcoming book "Transmission," which will be published in Paris. This esteemed publication aims to raise awareness among readers about how transmission creates wealth, providing successful examples (best practices) across various sectors to inspire those who will transmit in turn.

The objective of this work is to:

Emphasize that transmission creates wealth. Showcase successful examples (best practices) across diverse sectors. Enrich the world, life, and humanity with sustainable, inspiring, adaptable, and usable solutions. Our book is a transmission in itself!

"A skill transmitted to one's son is better than bequeathing a thousand pieces of gold." - Chinese Proverb

My article, "Transmission Croisée," will focus on innovative, eco-friendly solutions that honor cultural heritage and promote global well-being.

By highlighting personal and professional growth, my article will underscore the importance of transmission in both tangible and intangible forms, resonating with the book's objective of inspiring readers with successful practices for a sustainable future.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project and be inspired by the best practices and innovative solutions shared in "Transmission."

I am thrilled to announce my new venture in Costa Rica, where I am embracing a lifestyle deeply connected to nature. Living part-time immersed in the lush landscapes of Costa Rica, I am realigning my values and priorities to reflect a more sustainable and regenerative way of life.

In this beautiful setting, I will be applying the knowledge and methodologies I have developed throughout my career and ongoing consulting projects. My focus is on architecture that goes beyond sustainability, aiming to regenerate both the self and the environment.

Applying Career Insights and Methodologies

With a rich background in sustainable and regenerative design, I am excited to bring these principles to my work in Costa Rica. This venture will serve as a living laboratory where I can integrate and refine the practices I have championed, such as eco-design, bioclimatic architecture, and community-focused urban planning.

Exploring Biophilic Design and Off-Grid Living

Part of my new venture involves exploring biophilic design, which seeks to connect building occupants more closely to nature. I will also be experimenting with off-grid and self-sufficient living solutions that promote independence and resilience. This approach aligns with my vision of creating collaborative, sustainable communities that thrive in harmony with their environment, living more in connection with our emotions and biodiversity.

Beyond Sustainability: Regenerating the Self and Environment

My goal is to create spaces that do more than minimize environmental impact. I seek to develop projects that actively regenerate the natural world and enhance personal well-being. This approach will involve innovative design strategies that prioritize eco-friendly principals.

A Commitment to Continuous Learning and Growth

Spending time in Costa Rica provides a unique opportunity to deepen my understanding of sustainable living and ecological harmony: PURA VIDA. It is a place where I can continue to learn, grow, and apply new insights to my work, ensuring that my designs are not only artistic and functional but also profoundly respectful of the natural world.
